OFA Awards

This award recognizes the contribution of service and dedication to the Oregon Fairs Association along with contributions to his or her local fair and community. This nominee has been an active OFA member for the past 7 years, by serving on the OFA board, a committee or as an Area Director along with still being active at the local Fair or community level. To qualify for this award the person must not only have made significant contributions to your fair but to Fair’s in general and to the OFA.

This award is honoring a Fair Board member who has gone above and beyond his or her expected responsibilities to make significant contributions to improve the Fair that he or she represents. This nominee must have been active in the Fair community in the past year.

This award recognizes the vital contributions that youth make to the success of our local fairs and OFA. Nominees should be age 18 and younger whose unique or special efforts have made a significant impact on your fair.

OFA Service Members will select one of their own to receive this prestigious award recognizing significant contributions to the fair industry. A person who is nominated for this award should meet at least the following criteria: 1) Member of OFA for at least two years prior to nomination and in good standing with regard to annual dues and convention fees. 2) Must have contributed to OFA by way of volunteering on committees or at convention. 3) Upheld the ethics of business and conduct with Fairs and other Service Members. 4) Has promoted the mission and goodwill of the Service Members to OFA.
