Hear from the Oregon State Veterinarian’s Office on current requirements for fairs and year-round livestock exhibitions. This session will cover the livestock exhibition registration process, required recordkeeping, veterinary planning and animal health protocols, isolation areas, public hygiene requirements, and disease-specific considerations. Attendees will also receive information on the upcoming official identification requirement for sheep, goats, cattle, and swine, effective January 1, 2027.
